NTPC Green Energy Limited has awarded wind energy projects with a cumulative capacity of 1,544 MW to Suzlon, including a new order for a 378 MW project. As part of this new order, Suzlon will supply 120 units of its S144 wind turbine generators, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW, equipped with hybrid lattice towers.
In addition to the turbine supply, Suzlon will also undertake the foundation, erection, and commissioning of the project. Furthermore, the company will also be responsible for maintenance and other related services post-installation.
Earlier this month, Suzlon secured a 100.8 MW engineering, procurement, and construction wind power order from Sunsure Energy, involving the supply of 48 S120 wind turbine generators rated at 2.1 MW each, mounted on hybrid lattice towers.
