Suzlon Group has committed to powering all 15 of its manufacturing units entirely using renewable energy by 2030. The company is also the first Indian company to join the RE100 Initiative. It is a global movement led by the Climate Group in partnership with Carbon Disclosure Project.
Earlier in April 2025, Suzlon secured an engineering, procurement, and construction wind power order of 100.8 MW from Sunsure Energy.
Furthermore, in March 2025, Suzlon secured a 204.75 MW wind energy order from Jindal Green Wind 1 Private Limited, a subsidiary of Jindal Renewables.
