Reportedly, Sunsure Energy has signed a 13.5 MWp solar open access power purchase agreement (PPA) with Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL) to supply 20 million units of clean energy annually.

This solar power will be used at KBL’s manufacturing facilities in Kirloskarvadi and Kolhapur, covering around 75 per cent of the energy needs for both locations. The renewable energy provided will help KBL reduce its carbon footprint by offsetting approximately 14,200 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.
