Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has secured a contract valued at approximately Rs 12 billion for a 500 MW AC solar photovoltaic project in Gujarat. The scope of work includes Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) for the Balance of System (BOS), along with a three-year Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract.

The Letter of Intent (LOI) for the project reflects Sterling and Wilson’s expanding presence in India’s renewable energy sector. The company will assume single-point responsibility for EPC execution, ensuring seamless project delivery.

In December 2024, SWERL secured a Rs 5.04 billion contract to develop a 305 MW AC/396 MWp DC photovoltaic power plant in Rajasthan for a private independent power producer, with its scope of work including supply, installation, and commissioning.
