The SAEL Industries Limited, through its subsidiary SAEL Solar P6 Private Limited is set to establish an integrated solar manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The project will be set up under the jurisdiction of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority and is scheduled to commence construction within the year. The upcoming manufacturing facility is projected to have an annual capacity of 5 GW of solar cell production and 5 GW of solar module assembly, with an estimated total investment of Rs 82 billion. The new plant will manufacture tunnel oxide passivated contact solar cells, which will be assembled into solar panels on-site.
