The Rajasthan government has approved land allocation for a 765 kV power substation to be developed at Phusasar village in Bhaniana tehsil of Jaisalmer district.
The project will be implemented by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited on an 80 hectare site and is aimed at enhancing electricity supply quality and stability across western Rajasthan. Once operational, the substation is expected to reduce transmission losses and improve voltage regulation, supporting growing regional energy needs and renewable power integration.
