NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has entered into a joint venture (JV) with Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL) to develop renewable energy parks and projects.
Under the agreement, NGEL holds a 51 per cent stake in the JV, subscribing to 51,000 equity shares at a face value of Rs 10 each, while UPRVUNL retains a 49 per cent stake. The JV will focus on the development, operation, and maintenance of renewable energy projects, supporting India’s transition to green energy.
