National Grid Renewables Commences Dodson Creek Solar Project

National Grid Renewables has kicked off construction at the Dodson Creek Solar Project in Highland County, Ohio. The 117 MW solar project, part of the PJM market, will provide clean energy and is expected to bring $49 million in economic benefits to the local area.

Dodson Creek is the latest addition to National Grid Renewables’ Ohio portfolio, following the already operational Yellowbud Solar project, the largest project in the state, and other ongoing projects – Ross County Solar and Fayette Solar. Together, these four projects form a 558.5 MW portfolio of active and upcoming solar initiatives across Ohio.

National Grid Renewables, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a major North American renewable energy firm with offices across the US. It has approximately 14,000 MW of projects currently in development, 422 MW of projects under construction, and 1,678 MW of projects currently in operation.
