Matel Motion & Energy Solutions Private Limited (Matel) has partnered with Honda Power Pack Energy India Private Limited (HEID) to integrate its ePowertrain with HEID’s swappable battery solution. This collaboration is set to provide electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers with adaptable and efficient swappable battery solutions, addressing key barriers to EV adoption.

Through this partnership, Matel will customise its powertrain solutions to integrate with HEID’s swappable battery system, offering a scalable and practical alternative to fixed battery configurations. The synergy between Matel’s advanced powertrain technology and HEID’s battery-swapping ecosystem is expected to accelerate vehicle development and market adoption.
