Juniper Green Energy has commissioned a 59 MWp solar unit of its 75 MW wind-solar hybrid power project in Wardha, Maharashtra. The project, known as Juniper Green Power Five, has reportedly been commissioned 17 months ahead of the scheduled commercial operation date of November 2026.
The power purchase agreement for the project, consisting of a contracted capacity of 75 MW, was signed with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) in November 2024.
Earlier this month, Juniper Green Energy Limited commissioned a 145.99 MWp solar power project in Chapalgaon, Maharashtra, to supply power to MSEDCL, completing it 19 months ahead of schedule.
