IREDA Approves ₹30 Billion for Renewable Energy Projects in Odisha

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has sanctioned renewable energy projects worth Rs 30 billion to support Odisha’s ambitious plan to achieve 10 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.

These projects span diverse areas, including solar, hydro, ethanol, and renewable energy manufacturing. Odisha’s potential as a leading hub for solar power production and solar equipment manufacturing is expected to be further strengthened through this funding. Additionally, emerging technologies such as ethanol production, electric vehicle infrastructure, pumped storage hydropower, and green ammonia are set to receive significant focus.
