Indosolar Launches 1.3 GW Solar Module Facility

Indosolar Limited, a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, has announced the inauguration of its new solar module manufacturing plant. Located in Noida’s industrial hub, India, the plant has a production capacity of 1.3 GW. The facility is anticipated to manufacture high-quality solar solutions and support eco-friendly manufacturing initiatives, in line with India’s goals for transitioning to renewable energy.

In July 2024, Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited bagged the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) order for 412.5 MWp (335 MW AC) solar project.

In the same month, Waaree Energies Limited secured a contract for supply of 900 MW of bifacial solar modules. Awarded by Serentica Renewables India Private Limited, the modules will be installed for a project situated in Fatehgarh, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
