The Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission has approved the tariffs determined through competitive bidding conducted by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for the procurement of 1,125 MW of solar power from projects to be developed in Gujarat State Electricity Corporation’s solar park at Khavda.
The approved tariffs are as follows: Engie Energy – 200 MW at a tariff of Rs 2.62 per kWh, NTPC Renewable Energy – 225 MW at a tariff of Rs 2.67 per kWh. While, NHPC – 200 MW, JSW Neo Energy – 300 MW, and SJVN Green Energy – 200 MW at a tariff of Rs 2.66 per kWh. The commission also granted permission to GUVNL to enter into power purchase agreements with the developers.
