DRAIPL Secures Projects for 3.5 GW Renewable Energy in Rajasthan

Reportedly, the Dineshchandra R. Agarwal Infracon Private Limited (DRAIPL) has been awarded REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited’s transmission project to evacuate 3.5 GW of renewable energy from Rajasthan’s renewable energy zone.

The letter of intent has been issued for an inter state transmission system scheme called “Transmission system for evacuation of power from Rajasthan REZ Phase-IV (Part 4:3.5 GW: Part-B) under project special purpose vehicle “Rajasthan IV 4B Power Transmission Limited”. The project invloves setting up a 765/400 kV, 2×1500 MVA substation near Merta (Merta-II Substation) and installing 2×240 MVAr (765 kV) and 2×125 MVAr (420 kV) bus reactors. The project’s broader scope covers detailed surveys, project reporting, financing, land compensation, obtaining consents and clearances, design, engineering, procurement of materials, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning.
