BrightNight and Cordelio Power have inked a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Arizona Public Service (APS). Under this agreement, APS will procure carbon-free energy from BrightNight and Cordelio’s clean energy center. This is a hybrid facility featuring 300 MW of solar capacity and 1,200 MWh of battery energy storage.

Construction of the project is expected to commence in September 2025, with operations commencing in April 2027. The facility will deliver reliable, affordable, and clean electricity to APS customers, support the region’s growing energy needs, and enhance grid resilience.
