Apraava Energy and NTPC Ink Deal for 300 MW Solar Power Project

Apraava Energy Private Limited has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with NTPC Limited for a 300 MW solar energy project connected to the inter-state transmission system (ISTS). The project will be located in Rajasthan and is scheduled for completion within 24 months.

The project was awarded through an e-reverse auction at a tariff of Rs 2.65 per kWh. The PPA is in effect for 25 years. Apraava also has three other wind projects in Rajasthan at an aggregate capacity of 253.6 MW.

In December 2023, Apraava Energy also won a 300 MW wind power project at a tariff of Rs 3.24 per kWh to be located in Aski, Karnataka.
