Ambit GPC Invests ₹2.3 Billion in Lohum Cleantech

Ambit Global Private Client (Ambit GPC) has completed a Rs 2.3 billion investment in Lohum Cleantech Private Limited through Poonawalla Vision Fund 1 (PVF I), along with select family offices. The investment was made through Ambit GPC’s private markets platform, which provides clients access to selected private investment opportunities.

PVF I is a Category II alternative investment fund managed by Ambit GPC with a corpus of around Rs 10.5 billion. The fund has made 12 investments so far and deployed around 60 per cent of its capital within three months of its final close. It is currently tracking an internal rate of return of around 40 per cent and a multiple on invested capital of 1.4 times.

Earlier in November 2025, Lohum Cleantech Private Limited announced a joint venture (JV) with Talbros Automotive Components Limited. The JV was planned to be funded through an equity investment of Rs 200 million, with Talbros contributing 49 per cent.
