Agastya Green Energy Limited, part of the Anubhav Agarwal Group, has announced an expansion into integrated 12 GW ingot and wafer manufacturing at the Orvakal Industrial Area in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves an investment of approximately Rs 78 billion. Additionally, the project is expected to create more than 3,500 employment opportunities.
Earlier, in June 2026, Agastya Green Fuels Private Limited executed a long-term green methanol offtake agreement with SAR Maritime Agencies. The agreement covers the supply of 250 kilotonnes per annum of EU RFNBO RED III compliant green methanol.
Also, in June 2026, Agastya Energy inked an MoU with Andhra Pradesh to establish a green methanol hub at Mulapeta Port, developing a 1 million metric tonnes per annum green methanol export facility as a hub for sustainable bunker fuels and green industrial products.
