ACME Solar & GREW Solar Partner for Rajasthan Solar Project

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has partnered with GREW Solar to execute a solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, aiming to enhance renewable energy capacity in the region. The project will utilise GREW Solar’s Topcon solar modules, produced at its 3 GW manufacturing facility near Dudu, Jaipur. 

ACME Solar and GREW Solar plan to further strengthen their collaboration. Currently, ACME Solar has a portfolio of 6.97 GW in renewable energy projects, including 2.54 GW of operational assets and 4.43 GW under development.

In January 2025, ACME Solar signed a power purchase agreement with NHPC Limited for a 680 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy project, awarded under NHPC’s 1,400 MW FDRE tender, to be developed across Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and Rajasthan, integrating solar, wind, and battery storage to ensure a minimum 40 per cent annual capacity utilisation factor, 90 per cent peak-hour commitment, and a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.
