Ahmedabad : Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited (TARIL), a leading manufacturer of transformers and reactors, has received an order from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) for the manufacturing and supply of 500 MVA and 200 MVA Auto Transformers and related work. The order is classified as a large order under the Company’s project classification and is scheduled to be executed within 15 to 28 months.

Satyen Mamtora, Managing Director & CEO, Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited, said, “India’s power sector is entering a phase where strengthening the grid will be as important as expanding generation capacity. This will require dependable, high-capacity equipment, stronger domestic manufacturing capabilities and greater resilience across the power value chain. Orders such as this reinforce the importance of building these capabilities within the country. As India progresses towards Viksit Bharat 2047, we see a significant opportunity for Indian manufacturers to contribute to a more robust and self-reliant power infrastructure, and TARIL remains committed to playing its part in this journey.”
