Bondada Engineering Limited, through its joint venture with BEST Infra Private Limited, has received a letter of intent (LoI) from Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TGNPDCL) for a smart energy metering project worth approximately Rs 410.1 million.
The project involves the procurement, supply, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of smart energy meters. It also covers their operation and maintenance, PP box maintenance and associated network operations and monitoring under a cloud-based head-end system, meter data acquisition system, and meter data management system. A total of 40,000 smart meters are to be deployed, including 12,500 single-phase and 27,500 three-phase meters. The order is to be executed within 11 months from the date of execution of the purchase order.
