JSW Energy PSP Eleven Limited (JEPEL), a step-down subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has secured an order worth Rs 4.4 billion from Bondada Renewable Energy Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bondada Engineering Limited. The order is for the supply of 200 MW/400 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) projects along with power conversion systems.
JEPEL operates a battery assembly plant in Pune with an annual manufacturing capacity of 5 GWh. JSW Energy currently has a locked-in power generation capacity of 32.1 GW, including 14.53 GW operational, 13.0 GW under construction, and a pipeline of 4.6 GW across thermal, hydro, and renewable energy projects. Additionally, the company has an energy storage capacity of 29.6 GWh, comprising 26.4 GWh of pumped hydro storage and 3.2 GWh of BESS.
Earlier, in June 2026, JSW Energy Limited commissioned a wind blade manufacturing plant at Halol, Gujarat. The facility has an annual production capacity of up to 450 wind blades, equivalent to around 600 MW of wind projects. Moreover, it will manufacture 82-metre blades designed for 4 MW wind turbine generators.
