Jupiter International Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra government to establish a vertically integrated solar manufacturing facility at Butibori, Nagpur.
The project entails an investment of around Rs 109 billion and will cover the complete value chain, including solar wafer manufacturing, new technology solar cell production, and solar module manufacturing. Jupiter International currently operates two manufacturing facilities of with an installed capacity of 500 MW each in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, with an aggregate installed capacity of 1 GW.
