SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), a subsidiary of SJVN, has invited bids for consultancy services to develop a comprehensive roadmap, prepare a detailed project report (DPR), and draft a tender document for setting up a 25 MW green hydrogen project in Assam. The project will utilise advanced electrolysis-based technologies powered by renewable energy. The tender has been issued on behalf of SGEL Assam Renewable Energy, a joint venture between SGEL and Assam Power Distribution Company (APDCL). The deadline for bid submission is February 27, 2025.
According to the tender guidelines, the bidders are required to submit a deposit of Rs 50,000 and a tender document fee of Rs 2,360, inclusive of 18 per cent GST. According to the eligibility criteria, the bidders must have a minimum of seven years of experience in providing consultancy services and should have completed at least one of the following: a similar project with a minimum contract value of Rs 2 million, two similar projects each valued at Rs 1.25 million, or three similar projects each valued at Rs 1 million. Additionally, bidders must have an average annual turnover of Rs 5 million over the last three financial years.
In December 2024, SGEL issued a tender for 1,352 MW solar projects across 102 sites in Maharashtra under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0, with the projects being distributed across Pune (154 MW), Nashik (304 MW), Ahmednagar (315 MW), and Solapur (579 MW).
