Gensol Bags Rs 8.97 Billion Deal for 225 MW Solar Power Project

Gensol Engineering Limited (Gensol) has secured a contract valued at Rs 8.97 billion from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited for the development of a 225 MW AC grid-connected solar project. The project will be executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis at the GSECL Solar Park (Stage-III) in Khavda, located in the Rann of Kutch, Gujarat.

The scope of the contract includes the development of the solar project and operations and maintenance (O&M) services for a duration of three years. The total contract value is inclusive of taxes and duties.

Earlier this month, Gensol Engineering Limited secured a Rs 880 million turnkey contract to develop a 22 MW ground-mounted solar PV power plant for a steel products company in Punjab, scheduled for completion within six months.
