Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology (MAHAPREIT) has floated a tender for 30 MW of distributed grid-connected rooftop solar systems on government buildings in Goa. The scope includes design, supply, installation, commissioning, and five years of maintenance. The bid submission deadline is November 4, 2024. Bidders are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 10,000 plus 18 per cent GST.

The project covers two categories: Category A1 (3 kW-100 kW) for a potential 10 MW and Category A2 (101 kW-500 kW) for a potential 20 MW. Bidders must meet experience and financial criteria, including cumulative capacity requirements of 800 kW (A1) and 2,000 kW (A2), along with a minimum average turnover of Rs 30 million over the last three years.

In October 2024, MAHAPREIT floated a tender inviting bids for 3.2 MW of distributed solar power. The project, reportedly costing Rs 23.01 million, will supply the power generated to Chandrapur Zilla Parishad, Maharashtra.
