Gensol Engineering Enters the US Market

Gensol Engineering Limited has expanded into the US market with the launch of Scorpius Trackers Inc., a Delaware-based subsidiary. Their first office will open in California. Scorpius Trackers aims to supply 2,000 MW solar trackers annually by 2028. Scorpius Trackers was founded in 2012 and acquired by Gensol Engineering in 2023 for Rs 1.35 billion. They provide proactive, end-to-end single-axis solar tracking solutions.

In August 2024, Gensol Engineering bagged a 16 MW C&I rooftop solar project in Madhya Pradesh which will be completed in six months on an engineering, procurement and construction basis. In July 2024, they were the winning bidder for 116 MW (150 MWp) of solar projects distributed across 27 different locations in Gujarat. The estimated revenue from the projects is Rs 6 billion.
