Punjab to Install 66 Solar Plants, Adding 264 MW Capacity

Reportedly, the Punjab government is planning to install 66 solar power plants, each with a 4 MW capacity, with a total capacity of 264 MW in Punjab.

The project will produce about 390 million units of electricity annually and is expected to save around Rs 1.36 billion each year through solarisation at the feeder level. This initiative is expected to attract around Rs 10.56 billion in investments.
