Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has bagged the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) order for 412.5 MWp (335 MW AC) solar project. Located in Kawani village of Bikaner district in Rajasthan, Acciona Energy is developing the project through its subsidiary Juna Renewable Energy.

Waaree Energies Limited will supply bifacial solar modules for the project. These modules will be mounted on horizontal single-axis trackers, which are anticipated to optimise energy production by improving light absorption and tracking efficiency. The scope of work of Waaree Renewable Technologies includes designing, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. It also includes the installation of a 33/220 kV plant substation, power transformers, and both automatic and semi-automatic module cleaning robots, along with their spare parts.

In July 2024, Waaree Energies Limited secured a contract for supply of 900 MW of bifacial solar modules. Awarded by Serentica Renewables India Private Limited, the modules will be installed for a project situated in Fatehgarh, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
