Powergrid Acquires SPV for Khavda Area Transmission System Phase-IV

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid) has acquired Khavda IV-E2 Power Transmission Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) for the Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from potential renewable energy zone in Khavda area of Gujarat under Phase-IV (7 GW): Part E2.

REC Power Distribution Company Limited has been appointed as the bid process coordinator for selection of transmission service providers through tariff based competitive bidding process on build, own, operate and transfer basis.
