PetroGreen Energy Secures Financing for Solar Project in Bohol

PetroGreen Energy Corporation (PGEC) has signed a PHP834 million loan agreement with Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation to fund one of its solar projects in Bohol, Philippines. The loan will facilitate the construction of the Dagohoy Solar Power Project (DSPP) in Dagohoy, which is scheduled for completion by Q4 2024.

PGEC has completed site clearing and development and also, plans to install photovoltaic solar panels soon. PGEC, a subsidiary of PetroEnergy Resources Corporation (PERC), operates with Kyuden International Corporation as a joint venture partner. DSPP will be Bohol’s first major solar power facility, reducing the province’s reliance on external power sources.
