India's Prestigious Net Zero Goal Takes Centre Stage at IESW 2023 with participation from over 25 countries

As G20 presidency, India has huge potential to collectively address the pressing challenges of climate change and cultivate global partnerships to accelerate the development and implementation of clean energy technologies. In its endeavour to support India’s Net Zero Goal and Clean Energy Transition, India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) is all set to introduce the 6th edition of India Energy Storage Week (IESW). IESW 2023 will be a truly global event with participation from more than 25 countries including UK, USA, UAE, Australia, China, Germany, Singapore, France, Italy, Srilanka during the proud year when India is hosting the G20 summit. Crowned as one of the most influential Clean Energy events in the world, IESW 2023 is laden with networking opportunities, knowledge sharing, world-class gatherings, and fascinating insights into the future of Energy Storage and Clean Energy Transformation.

With an impressive line-up of over 500 national and international organisation, 60+ CXOs from the e-mobility and green hydrogen ecosystem, 100+ Start-ups, 50+ Women Energy Leaders, 8+ ministries, IESW 2023 is going to be the biggest stage for e-mobility and clean energy. This 5 days power-packed conference and exhibition is scheduled from 1st  to 5th May 2023 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

Commenting on the event, Dr. Rahul Walawalkar, Founder and President, India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), said, “The world’s transition to sustainable energy is imperative for our planet’s survival, and India is at the forefront of this change. If India wants to achieve its net zero goal by 2070, energy storage technologies will have to play a crucial role. Over the past years, there has been notable advancement in manufacturing policies in India, with nearly 30 companies in the process of establishing manufacturing facilities for various components related to energy storage. The India Energy Storage Week 2023 presents an excellent opportunity for stakeholders to come together and explore the latest technologies and best practices in the energy storage, e-mobility, and green hydrogen space.”

IESW has received tremendous response from various ministries and government departments and is expecting secretaries, general secretaries, and representatives from over eight ministries, including Department of Heavy Industries, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Electronic, Department of Electronic Science and Technology, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate change to grace the occasion with their presence.
