The Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has floated a tender for 320 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar power projects to be established in eight locations in Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh. The bids must be submitted by October 4, 2024. The winning developer will receive a land lease of 1,292.46 acres for 30 years from UPNEDA. The project has to be set up on a build-own-operate basis and is expected to cost Rs 19.39 million.
According to the tender guidelines, Rs 29,500 has to be submitted as non-refundable document fees. A document processing fee of Rs 0.2 million and 18 per cent GST and an earnest money deposit of 2 per cent of the estimated cost also has to be deposited. To be eligible, the net worth of the bidding company should be more than Rs 9.5 million per MW on March 31, 2024. In the last 7 seven years, they should have had a minimum annual turnover of Rs 20 million per MW. The bidders have to submit a bid specifying the price per acre per year. The minimum quotation is Rs 15,000/acre/year. Subsequent bids must be in multiples of 100.
Earlier this month, UPNEDA issued a tender to solarise 10,000 agricultural pumps, under component C-1 of the PM-KUSUM. The scope of the work includes supplying, installation, testing, and commissioning of distributed grid-connected solar photovoltaic systems.
