Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), through its subsidiary, TP Parivart Limited, has signed a power delivery agreement (PDA) with Tata Steel Limited for a 70 MW group captive solar power plant at Akola, Maharashtra.
The project is expected to produce 154 million units of power annually and reduce carbon emissions by 115,000 tonnes.
