TotalEnergies ENEOS has successfully commissioned a 680 kWp rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) project at a TechnipFMC facility in Malaysia. The newly installed system comprises over 1,100 solar modules and is expected to generate approximately 915 MWh of renewable electricity annually. This output will meet nearly 20 per cent of the facility’s total energy consumption.

The project has been executed under an 18-year power purchase agreement (PPA), requiring no investment from TechnipFMC. TotalEnergies ENEOS has undertaken complete responsibility for the funding, installation, operation and maintenance of the rooftop PV system. Under the agreement, TechnipFMC will purchase the electricity generated under the terms of the long-term PPA.
