Torrent Green Energy Establishes Subsidiaries for Renewable Business Expansion

Torrent Green Energy Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Torrent Power Limited, has incorporated Torrent Urja 39 Private Limited and Torrent Urja 40 Private Limited with an investment of Rs 500,000 each, subscribing to 50,000 equity shares of face value Rs 10 each.

The newly incorporated special purpose vehicles (SPVs) will focus on electricity generation from renewable energy sources. They are set to engage in the production, processing, trading, and distribution of hydrogen, its derivatives, natural gas, and other renewable energy-related products, along with power generation, transmission, and distribution.
