Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWERL) has secured an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) order from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) to develop a 245 MW solar project at the Khavda renewable energy park in the Rann of Kutch, Gujarat.
The scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning of the project along with the supply of solar modules. It also involves site preparation, surveys, and geotechnical investigations; construction of tracker-based module mounting structures; inverter and switchgear rooms; and associated civil and electrical works for grid interfacing. The project will be equipped with robotic module cleaning systems, a supervisory control and data acquisition system for remote monitoring, and a weather monitoring station. Sterling and Wilson will provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for three years, covering electrical equipment, consumables, and spare parts.
