Shree Cement has declared that it is now a member of the RE100 initiative, a global initiative led by Climate Group that encourages companies to switch to using only renewable energy for all of their activities. The goal is to encourage major companies to expedite the world’s shift to 100 per cent renewable electricity use, along with positive change across the industry and establishing a standard for sustainability in the cement sector.

Shree Cement will focus on building strong partnerships with stakeholders, local communities, and government bodies to tackle challenges and encourage the broader adoption of clean power solutions. The company also commits to transparent monitoring and reporting of its progress towards clean power targets.
