Sembcorp Industries, through its subsidiary Sembcorp Green Infra Private Limited, has secured its first round-the-clock (RTC) renewable energy project in India.
The company has been awarded a 50 MW project by the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) under a 1.2 GW tender for round the clock power from interstate transmission system-connected renewable projects. Sembcorp will deploy approximately 300 MW of solar, wind and battery energy storage systems to meet the supply requirement under a 25-year power purchase agreement.
