Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a tender inviting bids to develop 1 GW of inter-state transmission system (ISTS)-connected solar power projects for Tranche XVIII. The last date of submission of the bid is October 4, 2024.
According to the tender guidelines, the bidders are required to submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 942,000 per MW, a document fee of Rs 50,000 and a non-refundable bid processing fee of Rs 20,000. Once selected, the winners have to submit Rs 2.35 million per MW per project as a performance bank guarantee. The net worth of the bidders should be at least Rs 9.42 million per MW of the previous financial year or on the day a week before the bid submission deadline. In the last three financial years, the average annual turnover of the company should be at least Rs 3.69 million per MW of the quoted capacity.
The bids submitted must be between 50 MW and 500 MW of total contracted capacity. The projects can be developed anywhere in India. The modules used must be listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
