The consortium of SCC Infrastructure and InSolare has won the Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) auction to supply 70,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of green ammonia under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition Programme (Mode-2A, Tranche-I). The capacity was secured at a tariff of Rs 53.05 per kg. Furthermore, the green ammonia will be supplied to Madhya Bharat Agro Products -III in Dhule, in the state of Maharashtra.
Moreover, this marks the fourth auction in a planned series of 13 green ammonia auctions, under a tender aggregating a cumulative procurement capacity of 724,000 tonnes per year.
Earlier this month, Oriana Power won SECI’s third green ammonia auction to supply 60,000 TPA of green ammonia to Madhya Bharat Agro Products in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, for 10 years. Furthermore, earlier this month, NTPC Renewable Energy won SECI’s auction to supply 70,000 TPA of green ammonia to Krishana Phoschem in Meghnagar, Madhya Pradesh, for ten years.
