RWE has signed a letter of support with the Port Authority of Setúbal to enhance the port’s infrastructure and support Portugal’s development of floating offshore wind energy. The agreement involves exploring the port’s potential as a key industrial hub for the marshalling, assembly, and deployment of components for large-scale floating offshore wind projects.

This collaboration aligns with Portugal’s industrialisation goals and positions the country to capitalise on the growing offshore wind industry while exploring potential synergies beyond its borders.

In September 2024, RWE Supply & Trading signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with AM Green Ammonia B.V. (AMG) for the long-term supply of 250,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually from AMG’s facilities in India.
