Ramky Infrastructure Limited has received notification of awards totaling Rs 1.31 billion from PowerGrid Energy Services Limited, a subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, to enhance the power distribution infrastructure in Ladakh.
The first contract, valued at Rs 1.07 billion is for the supply of plant contract, and the second, at Rs 0.24 billion , for installation of plant services, in the Leh and Kargil districts of Ladakh. These contracts are to be executed within 30 months. They are part of the loss reduction initiatives under the revamped distribution sector scheme targeting improvements in the Leh district.
