Odisha Government Approves Rs 9.03 Billion for Renewable Energy Projects

Reportedly, the Odisha government has approved the investment proposals totaling Rs 9.03 billion in the renewable energy sector.

The Energy Department’s single window committee approved these investments to support the state’s goal of achieving a 10 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030. Among the approved proposals, HPCL Renewable & Green Energy Limited will establish a 48 MW wind energy project in Umerkote, Nabarangpur district, and ONGC Tripura Power Company Limited received approval for a 49.5 MW wind energy project in Astaranga, Puri district.
