NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has issued a tender for the supply and installation of wind turbine generators for a 110 MW interstate transmission system-connected wind energy project at Khavda NTPC Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat. The deadline for the bid submission is March 25, 2025.

According to the tender guidelines, the bidders must submit a bid security of Rs 100 million, with the cost of the bidding documents being Rs 22,500. The project scope includes designing, engineering, manufacturing, supplying, erecting, installing, testing, and commissioning wind turbine generators with a minimum capacity of 3 MW. Additionally, the bidders are required to establish guaranteed performance parameters for the entire wind power project by installing the offered wind turbine generators, control panels, SCADA, and control systems software at NTPC REL’s Pooling Substations 2 and 3. Bidders will also be responsible for the comprehensive operation and maintenance of the entire system for ten years after commissioning. This includes supplying spare parts and consumables, as well as repairing or replacing faulty equipment. They must obtain the necessary statutory approvals and clearances for power evacuation and grid connectivity while coordinating with state nodal renewable energy agencies as required.
