Malaysia Signs MoU to Boost Energy Generation in Power Plant Operations

Malakoff Power Bhd, a subsidiary of Malakoff Corporation Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Korea South-East Power Company to enhance energy generation technologies and adopt best practices in power plant operations in Malaysia.

This partnership is expected to aid Malakoff in integrating renewable energy sources into their operations, including plans to incorporate 5 per cent biomass at the Tanjung Bin Power Plant  in Johor by 2025 and then increase it to 15 per cent by 2027.
