Gautam Solar’s endeavor to ramp up the adoption of clean energy in the country by enhancing the quality of solar products continues as the leading player in solar manufacturing launches the advanced DCR 520 Wp 10BB Mono Half-cut solar modules at the 15th Edition of Elecrama (World’s Largest Electrical & Allied Electronics Show) at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. According to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) panels are those solar panels or modules wherein the solar cell and solar module are indigenously manufactured in India.

Gautam Solar’s mono DCR modules are designed to provide high efficiency in power generation to utility-scale, commercial & industrial (C&I), and residential sectors, both in ground-mounted and rooftop installations.

“The new range of DCR mono modules is a testament to the company’s firm commitment towards providing top quality solar solutions and services to the customers. We will continue to innovate and develop new and advanced products and technologies to meet the growing demand for clean and renewable energy. We are looking forward to working with existing and new clients and partners to provide sustainable solar energy solutions to power homes and businesses across the country,” noted Director of Gautam Solar Private Limited Gautam Mohanka.

MNRE has mandated the use of DCR Solar Panels for specific projects promoted by MNRE, including residential projects with any form of subsidy and CPSU Scheme for more than 12000 MW. In line with the government’s mandate, the high-quality and high-performance DCR mono modules of Gautam Solar are manufactured using 100 per cent Made in India mono M10 solar cells.

The salient features of the DCR 520 Wp Mono modules include bigger M10 cells for higher power generation, multi-busbar technology for lower electrical losses, round ribbon connectors for better light utilization, bifacial PERC technology for power generation from both sides, non-destructive laser-based cell cutting for higher reliability and lower chances of micro-cracks and half-cut cell technology for better low-light performance.
