Envision India has signed a 116 MW turbine supply agreement for EN-156 3.3 MW turbines with BlueLeaf Energy.
Envision has set up an annual manufacturing capacity of 3 GW for nacelle and hub in Pune, and 2.5 GW for blades in Trichy. They have invested over Rs 5 billion in India.
In May 2024, Envision had been selected by Atlantic Greens to build the Cellarhead project, a 300 MW battery energy storage project (BESS) with a maximum energy capacity of 624 MWh. Previously in February 2024, Envision had partnered with Juniper Green Energy to set up a 300 MW wind energy project in Gujarat. Under the partnership, Envision Energy is supposed to supply 91 units of EN 156-3.3 MW wind turbine generators.
BlueLeaf is expected to start construction on a wind-solar hybrid power project in Madhya Pradesh in 2024 with the aim to complete it by 2025.
