Clearway Energy Group has secured a 25-year power purchase agreement with Puget Sound Energy (PSE) for the 315 MW Haymaker wind farm in Montana. Upon becoming operational, the Haymaker wind farm will generate sufficient electricity to supply for over 116,000 households annually.

Haymaker is anticipated to provide millions in landowner payments and contribute over $100 million in property tax revenue over the duration of the project. Furthermore, the project is expected to create hundreds of well-paying jobs during its construction phase. The construction of the project is set to commence in 2026, with commercial operations projected to begin by 2028.

Earlier this month, Clearway Energy Group secured over $700 million for the 200 MW Luna Valley solar project and the 113.5 MW Daggett Storage battery project in California. San Diego Gas & Electric signed 15-year contracts for power and storage, while Southern California Edison and the Power & Water Resources Pooling Authority have 20-year agreements for the remaining capacity.
