BluPine Energy has announced the signing of a power purchase agreement (PPA) with APL Apollo Building Products for a 61.65 MW solar project. The project will be located in Chattisgarh. BluPine Energy, using a special-purpose vehicle (SPV), will implement the project which is intended for use by APL Apollo Building Products and other offtakers within the group captive arrangement.
The solar facility is anticipated to produce roughly 94.5 million units of power on a yearly basis, equivalent to supplying power to 79,000 households and mitigating over 87,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.
In April 2024, BluPine Energy announced it secured financial closure for its 120 MW solar project in Sadla, Gujarat.
